letsdance, the point of bringing up Gran Turismo 2 was to show that ownership and completion of a game not necessarily makes you a fan. I've also played other GTs, but that doesn't really matter.

If your original argument was that Kratos would annihilate all Links combined, then knowing four or five out twelve games isn't exactly sufficient, don't you think? It's like ignoring two and a half men, errr..., God of War games when determining Kratos' absolute power.

Thats cool but there is no situation brought up yet to suggest link would win. Khuutra has ignored most of the valid points. Like when he says "He wouldnt see link attack" and I say "With the cape there is still a shadow" and he ignores it. Or the fact that... even with the cape link has a limited amount of time to win a fight with kratos who can take a hit and keep on ticking... if link were to ever land a hit since kratos has the boots of hermes which... make him super fast. And Kratos is very agile already. Also, Khuutra ignores the balance concept that developers use to pace the game... He says Kratos never uses the items that he gets thus he doesn't have them in the fight... thats the most ignorant thing said in this thread... more ignorant than anything Ive said. Khuutra is being close minded and full of double standards... why would I argue with him?

Noones buying it... that's why nobody is really defending you.

Or no one is defending me because they realize how close minded Khuutra has been... Few posts of his in he said another completely ignorant statement "Links kill list makes Kratos' really really really puny" Kratos killed numerous armies in the name of Ares. His evidence "I did it in the first Zelda" Well fuck... if we can do that "I ran through the game without killing anything except for the must fight creatures to unlock doors or chests or bosses" and "I never got the magic cape therefor Link doesn't have it" If can do that type of shit why can't I?

... surrrrrre.  Keep telling yourself that.

It's not that you set up for yourself an unwinnible arguement involving a character you seem to know next to nothing about.

Couldn't be.

I already debunked your cloak argument anyway... so yeah.

Oh for the love of

Okay. Listen.

Link, at the end of Link to the Past, has the entire Triforce. With it he has the power to grant life and reshape the entire world according to his heart's desire. So it goes like this.

1. Link brings Kratos's family back to life.

2. Link causes Mount Olympus to crumble and all the gods to go away.

3. Link banishes the Great Evils from Pandora's Box, annihilating them altogether.

4. Link heals Kratos's shattered conscience, reuniting him with his family, freeing him from the evils of his own heart.

5. Link makes the world of God of War into a paradise.

6. Kratos is happy, and also a normal guy.

7. LINK STABS HIM IN THE HEAD

THere! There's your scenario! There is your scenario using Link's insane reality-rewriting powers!

So we are talking about end game eh? Well kratos killed poisidon which had the seas swallow the earth. He killed Hades which made the souls and servants of the underworld run rampant. He killed Helios which blocked out the sun. Killed Gaia and Cronos which killed all the plants and agiculture. He destroyed the world

And Link can undo it with nothing more than willing it to be so.

Congrats. You were so stubborn on a non-salient point and you've given so little ground that I actually pulled out the "All Links combined essentially have the power to reshape entire worlds and also people according to his whim" thing. That's it! He has the Triforce. There is no force in God of War that can stand up to that, period.

When do these time lines happen? If kratos is first then link never existed therefor he can never gather the power of the triforce on a dead rock called the earth.

......Hyrule and God of War don't happen in the same world.

Double standard much? So links world effects Kratos but not vice versa. I see how it is... now I'm really done with I will not respond to you in this thread again. You sir are ridiculous.

I went over this earlier: this isn't true. Link can hit enemies while standing inside of other enemies, or even walls. When he's wearing the Magic Cape, Link can hurt others but cannot be touched, period. The fight's over.

If he can make contact with kratos. Then kratos can use that to use that contact to his advantage. It's simple logic. The fight's over yes. But not with the result you've been hungering for throughout the thread.

It would be logical, but it's just not true. The Magic Cape is a cheaply powerful item that there's no way around until Link runs out of magic. Link cannot be touched, period, whil he's wearing it, even when he hits Kratos - and Kratos can't actually grab enemies while he's being hit, and hee can't counter a move he can't see coming, and even if he could it wouldn't matter becuse Link can't be hit.

THe Magic Cape has broken this fight.

If you want to come up with another scenario for the fight where Link doesn't have both Chateau Romani and the Magic Cape, that's fine, I'll argue there too, but the argument of Combined Link vs. Kratos was over as soon as it started.

how many times has Kratos gone to Hades just to climb back out again? Even if Link were to beat Kratos he'd just keep coming back

Don't even try dude. Its useless the guy ignores all the valid points and makes up his own rules to benifit Link.

The Triforce is shown in Link to the Past to affect more than one reality. It can even cause an entire reality to wink out of existence.

Link's world doesn't effect Kratos' world.

Link's Triforce effects links world.  In the same way, a bolt of Zeus' lightneing would effect links world.

Poseiden was the god of Kratos' seas... and tied soley to those... etc.

The Tri-force is just pure unstoppable multi-dimensional distortion.  If you can't just logically see the difference between the two... there really is no hope for you.  It's a multiversal power.
