@ makingusic476: I'd say the jury is still out on most of the games you mentioned. Remember that Sony has a penchant for hyping mediocre games. (See: Lair, Heavenly Sword, Motorstorm.)

Also, it's confirmed that FFXIII is TBA '09. =P

Most of the games I mentioned are sequels to great titles (MGS, GT, FF, Tekken, etc.), and of the ones that aren't, many of them are getting hyped on their own merit, and not what Sony has said or done.

LittleBigPlanet? All we've seen from the start is gameplay, and it looks awesome.

They'd of done better to of just direct ported Faceball 2000.

Heh, it took till the Wii port? Sheesh, I was like that after 5 minutes on the original PC version.

Yea, from what I've heard it was a mistranslation or something of the sort and it hasn't actually been delayed (though who knows as it's taking its good old time as it is...). Also, I've found Heavenly Sword and Motorstorm to be better than mediocre (not exactly CRAZY AWESOME), so lets not pass our opinions as fact, eh?

Everyone expects an 09 release in the US.

The 2008 release in question would be the one in Japan.

I imagine that a PAL version would come in near 2010.

Of course Versus is expected similarily. 09 in Japan/ 10 in US/ 11 in PAL.

ps3 lineup is superb with resistance 2 added on, if not one of the best ever.
