sony has a ton of games in development , they could release resistance 3 or KZ3 or a completely new shooter franchise , the great thing about sony is they have a massive amount of developers more than nintendo and microsoft put together. so whatever game it is its gonna be awesome.

I love how people are underestimating Insomniac and there Resistance franchise, First of all Gears 2 was not a very big improvement over Gears 1 same old black and white graphics and the same looks for Gears 3 already, While Resistance: Fall Of Man had the black and white theme going Resistance 2 was a huge improvement in graphics, sure it wasn't the best and and they should have stuck with alot of RFOM's gameplay they did improve on the online capacity, graphics, and overall experience, it may have not been as good as the first one but atleast Insomniac took the risk which I'm sure they will again. BTW R2 wasn't a horrible game it just wasn't as fun as the first one! But Gears 2 didn't have a big change in any category! I believe R3 will suprise people.

I say Gears 3 outsells Resistance 3 3-1 or maybe 4-1 this time if they go head to head.

I hate to break it to you but Helaghast are aliens also. Except instead of them invading you, you get to go kick their A$$.

Uncharted 3?

Gears of War is one of the top 3 shooter franchises this gen. Sony doesn't have a Halo killer and they don't have a Gears of War killer either. They do have some shooters but they are as small as Forza is compared to GT.

Gears of War 3 will probably sell 2 million first week, that is almost the same number Killzone 2 did till today and even more than Resistance 2 did overall. Really, there is no counter. Uncharted 3 would be fun to watch, but Gears of War 3 would still win pretty easily.

I never said they need one. They would love to have one though.

They do not need to, b/c this will not move any hardware b/c is the 3rd sequel on the same console.

It will, quite probably, launch around the same time as Natal.
