I am European and I would like to buy the American Nintendo DS Lite "Zelda edition" because it is not possible to find it here in Europe ...

I would like to know if it is possible to play PAL games with an American version of the Nintendo DS because I know it is not possible with the Wii.

The DS is region free, no worries...They have alot of offers here in America, you should grab one real quick!

Seems like I can't order it from Amazon because they don't ship to France. Do you know which Americanonline stores can ship their products to Europe because I really don't see how I could get one otherwise ?

Wow, I just realized how nice it is to be living in the U.S.
Don't get me wrong we have our problems, but the fact that I just checked about a dozen internet stores and all of them only ship to the U.S. :(

Yes the DS is region free. I bought one whilst in America and use it to play my American and European releases no problem. You may need to buy a European power adapter for it. I picked up a UK adapter for only a few £ from Game.
