Forums - General - Can a political party campaign too much?

for reference, thats what I got on the test.

I haven't changed at all in the last 6 months.

I love this thread. It just shows how many similarities there are between the United States and United Kingdom. You guys have, in many ways, the same shitty and broken political system that we do. It's kinda funny and cheerful, in a way.

You could always vote Conservative ;) I can't wait til Cameron is PM. Hopefully, he will pull a Maggie pt. 2 but mostly likely that won't occur...

Might as well post mine

Greens lose my vote whilst a woman heads the party. I ain't having no Prime Minister representing me at international conferences breast-feeding mid-speech, and trying to pretend its not an issue. Meanwhile, Obama and Sarkozi exchange awkward looks, and Merkel's wiping a tear because she's statistically not going to have any children.

Sickening.

seriously?

thats either a bad joke or sexism...

Can't it be both? But, seriously, it was based on a comment made by Caroline Lucas on Question Time, once.

Kind of an off topic question, but is California known for its cowboys? I'm not a very big Western American history buff (which is quite ironic, I know).

politicians campaign all the time. there is no off switch when you want to keep the power and run the country.(the wrong way in the us when it comes to republicans and the teaparty) but it does get old real fast. but democrats in the us have not publicly started campaining yet.

back in 2002 when i was a senior in high school in my history class. we all took a multiple choice test to determine if we were dems or republican. if you scored anything under 26 you were a republican. a friend scored 26 and i scored a 27. we were the only dem's in a class
of 30 students. and the only question that seperated us was does having gay parents raise you in turn make you gay. he said it does and i dissagreed. another friend scored a 5. so he was a super repulican

It was in the 19th and early 20th centuries but not so anymore.  At least on the level that it used to be.  Central east, and NE Cali are usu the more conservative parts of the state now so there may be some rough and readies out that way.
