Project Natal (Xbox 360): New build impresses media before release

We have some good news for Xbox 360 owners looking to pick up the Project Natal motion sensing kit at the end of the year, as a fresh review of a new hardware build of Project Natal has concluded in some promising signs ahead.

As reported from GamesThirst, media from Spain were able to get to grips with a completely new build of Project Natal, but still had to base their impressions on a tech demo of 3D game Ricochet.

However, this time around, there has been no reports of any lag issues with the camera, with Engadget Spain going as far to say that the receiver sensitivity is ‘amazing’.

There are also further comments from Spanish media sources such as Meristation, ScoreZero and BeeGamer. Head to the link above to check out what they had to say about the latest build.

There is also a few new screenshots for you to check out too. What are your thoughts on this? Are you pleased that opinions are starting to shift in Microsoft’s favor?

No Lag Issues?

That's always good news...

GETTING MORE EXCITED!!! =)

I have yet to see a game I want Natal for (or Sony move to be honest)...but no lag issues is key.

Nice. E3 will be big.

Here's the actual review site.

Spain Confirms That Project Natal Delivers

We’ve all seen old Project Natal videos showing the primitive E3 09 build of Ricochet that Microsoft keeps showing everywhere until now. Spain got the first look at a newer and improved  build of Natal that even though being far from the final version it showed enough improvement to impress the media. Here we gather all the impressions from the Spain media and what they had to say after playing Project Natal.

Meristation:

” Looking with a little of attention at this demonstration we see it like as almost every one of the promises that were on the table have been achieved. First is the response of the camera and the speed with which captures the movements. Although still lacking a few small tweaks surprising degree of fidelity of our motions and the speed with which these are reflected on the screen.”

Engadget Spain:

” The receiver sensitivity is amazing, being virtually instantaneous response time in single-player game, where you could identify perfectly the force with which to hit the ball, its direction and distance just waving his arms. That little lag almost imperceptible in the single game is somewhat increased when there are two players on screen, but even so, the reaction of the console is also impressive.”

ScoreZero:

” Yesterday i was surprised with the people at Microsoft, despite the typical test demo gallery shattering glass boxes and balls, I saw the camera meets and exceeds all expectations.”

BeeGamer:

“I could not resist to do some breakdance moves seen as reacting to the avatar, and the sequence and movement coordination was perfect.”

Ok enuff with the Ricochet game. I can't wait to see this thing with other games but no more talks about this with Ricochet.

I'd like to see a hardcore game...have a feature that helps gameplay which can't be done without Natal. Then I'll be convinced about it..

MINE!

Good news so far!
