You guys beat me to the punch

Too Human

the game had a lot of potential, but it was just executed badly.

Killzone2 - could not replace CoD4 for me :/

Mercenaries world in flames - I kept on killing this one pedestrian that kept on gettin up...HE WOULD NOT DIE!!!! that kind of ruined the game for me. (I could also mension some other glitches that were game breakers but i dont feel like typing that much)

Farcry 2 - SOOOOO BOOORING!!! Plus you couldnt drive 2 feet without someoune trying to shoot ur b**s off :( and that just got really anoying really fast.

Final Fantasy 8. I am only on the second disc and I have no incentive to finish it.

Jak 2. Get that piece of crap away. Jak and Daxter was a great platformer. And then they thought making it into Ratchet and Clank would be a good idea, only the forgot the platforming and made terrible gun control. Shit game. Shit story. Couldn't get past 5 hours.

Final Fantasy 12

It sucks big time, the characters, story and everything is boring as hell. It was the final nail in the coffin for FF, but FF13 has opened the coffin again by being awesome.

@dtewi

ff8 is the best ff ever along with ff7 and ff13. The second disc is when you get the flying balamb garden too, you shud carry on.

Not really that they were bad, I just never got into them..

Some examples would be (And I know people are going to be thinking wtf)

MGS4
Gears 1 and 2
Folklore
InFamous
KZ2
Darksiders (still on my todo list)
DMC4

Actually I would say out of the 80 or so games that I own, I have probably only beat maybe 20 of them, as I get bored of the game or a new one comes out and I shelf the older game for the newer one then never go back to the older one :P

I actually still have 3 games still in the shrinkwrap at home as well, Too Human (Was like $20 at FS), Lego Star Wars and RoF

You sound like me.  I get bored of playing a game, especially if something new comes along (or goes on sale and temps me to pick it up).

I still haven't finished Resistance 2, Killzone 2, Motorstorm 2, Resistance: Retribution, God of War 2, or Ratchet & Clank Future:  Tools of Destruction.

They're all great games, but my attention span is too short...  I need to stop buying new games until I finish everything.

yes. it was called red steel. and the other was called mario hoops 3 on 3. square enix should never make a basketball game ever again. cant believe i bought that crap

If the gameplay stops sucking and the story stops being shit and there's no more junction, then I just might.

With my own money, I purchased Jak & Daxter 1 and that was just boring; returned it.
Xenosaga 1 - 4 hours of cutscenes in the first 5 hours total means I quit
I rented Grand Theft Auto 4, and it was abysmal. Tried playing it one more time at a friends house, and as soon as I entered a vehicle I remembered why I hated it and will never play GTA4 again.
Baten Kaitos Origins: The battle system didn't work for me, even though I nailed the system in BK1.

NBA Street Vol. 3- Just terrible compared to Vol. 2
Tomb Raider Underworld- worst game of last year probably, bar none.

Bangai-O Spirits: It sold 30k for a reason..its nothing like the Dreamcast one. I was disappointed, even though I didn't want to admit it. I still play it every once in a while though.

Rygar PS2: I got it for 5 dollars. I actually beat it, but if the game is only 4 hours long, can you blame me? 60% of that time was walking.....

Strange, the battle system was the only reason I kept playing the game.
