Forums - Gaming - Which 32-Bit/64-Bit game has the best graphics?

One of the games that required the expansion pack probably.

Rogue Squadron (though was optional) or Perfect Dark on N64.

On PS1...Resident Evil 3 (and not being biased...it really was good looking)

RE2 on N64 looked better than RE3 on PS3. Pre-rendered back drops on RE2 and RE3 on PS1 had a 320x240 resolutions and on RE2 on N64 they were 640x480. The difference was substantial. The FMV looked far cleaner on PS1 but the in game graphics on RE2 for N64 were damned good for the time. Angel Studios did a good job.

I remember Tekken 3 and especially Tobal 2 looking fricking awesome back then on the PSOne.

I also have to mention Starfox 64.  Among plenty of others, I'm quite sure.

PSone (32bit) Final Fantasy IX
N64: Conker's Bad Fur Day, next would be Zelda MM.

@KylieDog

Are you kidding me? The N64 version had the best looking character models. You have to play it with the RAM upgrade to get the full effect. FMV sucked but everything else looked great. Plus everything was on one cart.

RE2 looked like crap on N64.  Everything compressed so much.

The only thing that was compressed was the FMV which as I already stated looked worse. I owned RE2 for N64 and my brother had it for PS1. The N64 version was superior graphically in every way except for the FMV. It had better character models and ran at 640x480 versus 320x240 for the PS1 and Angel Studios redid the prerendered backdrops in 640x480 to match the games new resolution. Anyone saying RE2 for PS1 had better graphics than the N64 version is either blind, a fanboy, or both.

Easily it was Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. I don't care if it's 2-D, it looked damn good.

Turok 2 and Majoras Mask. And as much as I hate the game, I'd have to say Donkey Kong 64 looked amazing at the time.
