Sounds like we have some contradicting sources for the 360 numbers. Wii seems reasonable at 1.19, since earlier reports stated Wii crossed 1M somewhere in August.
PS3 and 360 are undertracked in UK. But it is good to get information like this it will make this site more accurate.

No because there are two different source : one is Screen Digest ( cited in the Guardian's article ) and the other is Chart Track the official tracking firm for UK market.

The problem is that there must be a typo in the article, as they say :
"According to Screen Digest at the end of the third quarter the Wii was winning the console sales war, shifting 1.19m units in the UK, followed by Xbox 360 at 1.55m and the PS3 – the most recent to launch - at 450,000."
Perhaps they meant 1.055 Xbox 360, not 1.55.
Or they meant the Wii was selling more, followed (in weekly sales) by the X360, with an LTD at 1.55m.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
