Konami recently lifted the lid on the next title in Hudson Soft’s sports series, Sports Fest, in a press release. It will feature  Wii MotionPlus compatability for what the developer describes as a “stunning level of control”; this will hopefully enhance the wideof skill-based games that it offers, including volleyball, lacrosse, racquetball and fencing.

However, Konami’s sporting franchise is sandwiched between EA’s Sports Active and the mighty Wii Sports Resort, which recieved average scores of 81% and 80% respectively on Metacritic – Hudson Soft’s latest entry in its sports series is Deca Sports 2, recieving a measly 49%.

Can Sports Fest prove itself in the busy sports games market on the Wii? Active gamers can find out when it sprints over the finish line this Autumn.
