Yesterday i bought UT3 with my believing it would be a good mix for me, having both UT3 and TF2. But i actually came to the conclusion that playing both doesn't really work for me. It seems for me that when i play TF2 i get this feeling UT3 is way better, and vice versa. So i actually wanna focus on one of them, but which one? Share your opinions, don't discuss i put this in the PC section or something, PC has the superior versions, common sense agrees with that.

I'll let you know once I've played both, I'm installing TF2 at the moment actually... And yes the PC versions are far superior no question about it.

They are really a different experience honestly. I'm not sure how valid a "which is best" comparison would be to be honest. But I think you will find plenty of people willing to share their personal preference.

Well a PS3 owner would likely say UT3...as its one of the best shooters coming out for the system...even if they don't realize what Unreal Tournament plays like...

But I'd vote TF2. It's just superb. Both are great, and they're very different games...it's easy to like both I'm sure.

What are your favorite FPS before these two came out? It'll give us a better understanding of what style of FPS you perfer.

i would say TF2

My favorite FPS before TF2 was probably Day of Defeat: Source. Not really because of the class-based gameplay, but more because I owned at it, so I played it more hehe. I guess before that my typical FPS was CS: Source.
