This may simply end up being a problem you have to deal with for buying a Japanese PS3.

Then why the making the PS3 region free anyway? When I asked if I couldn't download a patch to switch it, I got this stupid answer...

Hi there,

If you have a Japanese PS3 you are stuck with Japanese Ratchet. If yoursystem language is set to English you will receive the English language and voice-overs though.

What the hell?

Insomniac are really stupid if that was what they did. I see that Sony have included a few catches in this "region free" gaming of theirs. What a load of crap, they promoted region free... LAME!
