If you mean a major RE game, you may be right (though who knows), but they did bring MH Tri and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom to the WIi, and they have already said that they are working on further Wii games that are unannounced, so why is it so unlikely for them to announce something major?

Currently Playing: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked, Professor Layton and the Curious Village

Anticipating: Xenoblade, The Last Story, Mario Kart 7, Rayman Origins, Zelda SS, Crush3D, Tales of the Abyss 3DS, MGS:Snake Eater 3DS, RE:Revelations, Time Travellers, Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, Luigi's Mansion 2, MH TriG, DQ Monsters, Heroes of Ruin

Much like everyone else here I say none. 3rd parties never tried much and now they are more than comfortable making shovelware to fund their HD projects.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

I seriously think the new MVC rumors are probably pushing towards a Wii release.  It might be on 360/PS3 as well this time (unlike TVC), but I think the base version will likely be Wii specific and ported up from there.

I think Japan's probably going to get MH3G on Wii late this year or early next.  Capcom has Basara 3 for wii coming in July too, which is a pretty big deal.

Outside that, I have no idea what Capcom might or might not have.  Maybe Mega Man Scramble Battle (the rumored cellshaded Wii Action RPG) will show up again?

I don't think MVC3 on the Wii would happen, at least going by this: http://www.capcom-unity.com/ask_capcom/go/thread/view/7371/23087245/Tatsunoko_vs_Capcom__Marvel_vs_Capcom_2_sales?pg=1 at the very bottom of the page

"So, Sven... With MvC2 doing so well in the sales department, think you could afford to make a Wii version?? Hmm??? : )

We don't have Wii rights from Marvel but all the same I had toyed with that idea. Unfortunately, the economics don't work. We'd have to sell it at a significantly higher price at retail on Wii.   Break even on the expected costs and lower margins are higher than the volume I'd reasonably expect to sell."

If that's true for MVC2, wouldn't that be true for MVC3 as well?

The only third party game for the wii I care in the moment is Dragon Quest.

Hmm... yeah, that's it.
Lol, amazing, I'm being true... no other game would make the wii better this year.

Unless MVC3's going to be a $15 XBLA/PSN download, then no.

TVC's on track to actually outsell MVC2 on PS2 and DC (it's already outsold the Xbox version afaik).  I think there's a great market on Wii for a full priced, new MVC game.

They need to start pumping out the DQ remakes and spinoffs on Wii to build up to (Armor Project & Level 5's) DQX.  In the next 2-3 years or so, I'd like to see...

  • Dragon Quest Swords II (by Genuis Sonority and 8ing again, using Motion Plus!)
  • Dragon Quest VII (fullscale cellshaded remake from Arte Piazza/Matrix)
  • Itadaki Street 4 featuring Dragon Quest & Super Mario (by Armor Project/Think Garage)
  • Torneko no Daibouken 4 (from h.a.n.d. using that gorgeous Chocobo engine)
  • Dragon Quest Monsters: Battle Road W (expanded conversion from Rocket Company, added DQX characters, DQMJ2 connectivity)
  • Dragon Quest I-VI and Torneko no Daibouken (on the Virtual Console)
