As stated here , Sony's removal of Other OS from PS3 was most likely unlawful, and isn't covered by any ELUAs/TOSs. If an EULA or TOS contain terms that go against the law, then those terms are invalid. Apparently Amazon's European lawyers know their trade: Someone just managed to get a 20% refund (and keep the console) as compensation for the loss of a feature.

Since I don't think that Amazon will just eat up those costs, it's going to get interesting now.
