Wow , people are really happy it would seem . Except El Duderino ... good luck mate :)

Thanx, its not doing that well right now but there are a lot of other stuff beside my depression pulling me down right now... guess I´ll just have to hang in there and hope things cheer up a little.

P.S. : Everyone happy better know how lucky they are... I can´t even remember when I really was happy the last time... I think I was 15 or so... o well thank god videogames offer a better reality at least for a little while :)

I'm not of a happy personality, I'm very serious.

But I wouldn't say that I'm sad right now. Maybe just bored?

I'm not happy either, in fact, right now I'm sad...

By me:

"Since you can´t understand ... there is no point to taking you seriously."

I have the job I always wanted, and I live very well (for my area). I have an amazing daughter, and a great girlfriend. I'm healthy, and I think I'm attractive. People like me a lot. I'm popular. I've been drug free for about a decade. And every now and then, I just break down and cry.

Generally yes, right now, no. C'mon Seahawks, you're playing the flippin' RAMS!

I had depression a few years ago, I know how it is. It's the reason why I'm majoring in psychology. From the sound of it, you've got it pretty bad if you've had to go to the hospital for it. Much luck to you.

^^ Thanx, always nice to hear a heads up from a fellow sufferer and yeah I´m pretty down right now... tried all sorts of happy pills and therapys but nothing seems work for me... at least I´m not suicidal... yet... lots of people I do therapy with are off even worse than me...  so much for better living trough chemistry :)

ECT might be a viable option for you if nothing else seems to work. It's harsh and the side effects can be pretty unsavory, but for some people who don't seem to respond to more traditional methods it has had some positive effects. It seems that it sort of "resets" the brain, balancing out the chemical imbalance that tends to be a hallmark of depression by causing the brain to act "normally," but sometimes it takes multiple treatments and even worse sometimes it still doesn't work.

I really hope that it doesn't come to that for you. Depression can be absolutely devastating, and nobody who hasn't been through it can understand it... Have you had to try any anxiolytics yet?

^^Haven´t heard of ECT yet but I´ll look into it as soon as I´m back, don´t have the time right now since I have to get back to the hospital (I only get to leave on weekends), and yeah I´ve had anxiolytics but no help there...

Thanx for taking the time... I sure hope something works soon... the last six weeks have been bretty bad for me.. I´m slowly but shurly going insane...
