Man, that thread had a ton of stuff.  I even saw some games i nthere I forgot about like Mario and Luigi: Bowsers Inside Story and Game Center CX 2 (Retro Game Challenge sequel we'll never be getting outside of Japan).  I need to get those games...

Actually, a lot of people, at least outside of Japan, were turned off by the fact that Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker didn't play like the older Dragon Quest Monster games.  However, I still really liked it and I thought they had a lot of nice innovations for the series.  But they're making a sequel for Joker, and its looking a lot closer to the style and gameplay of the older games.

I'll give a try anyway, mainly because no Dragon Quest game or spin-off has managed to dissapoint me, as they all bring something unique. Thanks for the input
