Get some older games.. then work up to the newer ones. Buy the older games since they are cheap and maybe when you are done with those, the newer ones will have went down in price.

Get MGS4, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Warhawk, Resistance 1 and 2...

Are you new here?  Let me explain:  In ANY poll that is PS3 vs. Anything, the PS3 option will always win.  In any poll that is PS3 exclusive vs. Anything, the PS3 exclusive will win.  Need an example?

Duh! Obviously 911 only has 911 graphics whereas GoW3 has 6,660 graphics, that's a 731% graphical increase. There is no way calling 911 could compete with god of war.

Also, you need to make that poll, please lewis!!!!

From that list, since I haven't played Heavy Rain, I can only recommend FFXIII.

But you should get Demon's Souls eventually. It's my favourite game of this gen so far, and probably one of the best RPGs ever made.

Actually, i'm kinda shocked no one mentioned it yet

Why those 2 games? are you getting/got anything else? You should really consider Uncharted 2. If you can find a cheap Valkyria Chronicles I'd go for it. Demon's Souls? Batman Arkham Asylum? all good games. God of War 3, too. Metal Gear Solid 4 should be very cheap.

Between HR and FF13, I'd go for FF13 just because it's longer and more polished.
