MS owns the IP so even if they did have a 2 game only with Epic they'd probably let another developer make it for them

Exactly,gears has always been a november game,all these rumors of them pushin it back toly to please microsoft so they can launch natal and halo is pissen me off,I want Gears for christmas.

Na, Gear is an Epic IP not MS, MS just publish it. Still a snowball's chance in hell of it appearing on the PS3 though.

I'm happy for the announcement. I really do prefer this to any Halo game, the co-op in both 1 and 2 was damn fun.
