Well they discontinued the 30 gig. thats probably just a clearance to get rid of stock. they only have 4 gig 8 gig and the 80 gig now. all those bulky 30 gigs are priced for permanent clearance. I dont think the new generation zunes are sold at a loss. They make money on it like I pod

I haven't seen any evidence that the newer models are selling briskly at full retail price.

Though I love my iPod(s), I welcome the success of the Zune. Anything that forces Apple to end the ass-raping they deliver the consumer on every iPod sold is cool with me.

There was a posting at a Fred Meyer in Washington State that stated supply shipments for GH3 had not arrived from manufacturers for the holiday sale, for all platforms.

There were still 20 or so 360's and PS3's on the shelves, but the Wii's were gone.

That doesn't say much about sales, but if I had to guess, I'd be figuring Wii-outages are occurring again.

What do you expect? Who buys ps3's at toys R us..

I went to Best Buy on Wednesday to pick up one of the two PS3s I was buying this year for my parents/brother and I took one of the two PS3s they had left, but I passed two pallets of 360s still in shrink wrap. It looks like Microsoft shipped tons of 360s out and Best Buy put them center aisle. I might swing back today and see if they are still there. I avoided "Black Friday" shopping like the plague.

Where I am at I saw lots of all the systems on Saturday, with exception of Wii. I saw a huge display of XBOX's. There were no Premiums but plenty of arcade/halo/120 gig. There were a few PS3's 80/40 gigs pretty much filling out whatever shelf space they had. I assumed there were no Wii's, and I saw a customer with a DS as well as another with a PSP but didn to check the actual stock out in the open. I honestly think that PS3 and XBOX are over shipping while Wii is under shipping.
