Why would they do that? make no financial sense

Unrealistic / Insomniac games, they have no interest to sell and they keep on expanding which makes it harder for SOny to acquire them, since Sony buys smaller to medium size studios and invest in them. You wont see Sony ever buying someone big as Epic games, capcom or what ever.

I think it working for the best since we all saw what came out of Rare after Microsoft bought them... But I do wonder if Sony will buy a huge company like Square Enix  one day..

BTW I don't Sony will buy Quantic Dream.

David Cage although he seems happy to work with Sony look the kind of guy who wants to stay independent.

On Sony's side it doesn't make any sense either since all of Quantic Dream games are a high risk to fund and publish. I doubt Sony would want that.

Sony has a storng relationship with a lot of studios, they can announce they purchased Insomniac Games in an hour for all we know but they can also buy no studios or companies for the next 3 years.

It doesn't make it less fun and interesting to discuss

Maybe the guys who makes Mod nation racer if that game takes off like LBP did.

I'd like to see Sony purchase Insomniac, because they have produced so many good games for the PlayStation family to date.
