Hey back on topic

whats everyones class? im a vanguard. Ill most likely have games for all classes but for now gonna beat it like that. Also im sticking with just two people, then 2 different people the next, etc till i use everyone.
Same for me aswell, playing male vanguard. Sticking with Wrex and Garrus this round I think. Been playing with Ashley for a while though, but I'm gonna switch to Garrus.

Quality for Life

Im a vanguard as well Kain. But man I wish I could use more weapons. Im tempted to finish it and start again as a soldier, but honestly the second run will have to wait, so many fantastic games to play.

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

My first time through I was a Soldier, now on my second time through I'm a Vanguard.

Cool :)

If there is any 360 title which will tip me into buying a 360... its this one :)

I agree!

But I think I'll be patient and wait for the PC version assuming most 360 games go on the PC sooner or later

I am playing as a vanguard myself. I'm with Ashley and Garrus, although I have not gotten that far, because I always get caught up in all the dialogue, haha. Anyone got any tips for me on how I should go about playing this game? I've never really played RPGs, funny enough, the only other one I played was KOTOR, and that was with friends. Any advice would be welcome. Great game, I love it!

Currently Playing:

PS4 - Killzone:SF and Assasins Creed 4

XBox One: BF4, CoD:Ghosts, Dead Rising 3, Forza 5

Changing channels with my voice: priceless!!!

Honestly I am shocked that nobody mentioned this up until this point. Mass Effect is no mere RPG. This game literally encompasses many genres, and can be played thusly. This has to be the first game I have ever played. That literally does not lock you into a mold. You want to play it as a RPG you can. You want to play it as a third person shooter you can. You want to play it as a squad tactic game you can. The choice is left up to the player, and on the casual setting it is so forgiving that you can get by using only a modest number of mechanics. I have yet to order my squad to do anything. I am fifteen hours into the game and am only now using the equipment management.

This game should actually get perfect scores the only legitimate gripe is with the engine. The loading is somewhat painful, and occasionally you glitch into the terrain. Every so often textures take too long to load. One of the most common gripes in reviews was generic environments, but here is the thing those environments are basically icing. They are superfluous content. Right now I have completed over fifty quests. None of them feeling terribly redundant, and I have the feeling that there are well over a hundred.

Anyone else digging the encyclopedia, and the scientific detail present in the game. Who would have thought that planetary geophysics would ever be in a game so entertaining. Such depth its damned near astounding. I pray that Electonic Arts does not screw with Bioware in the least. Let them keep turning out gems like this.

It took me 4 tries to get my face to where I wanted it. For Some reason it looked good on the generation screen but once in game my nationality changed. I've tried Infiltrator and Vangaurd and gone furthest with Vangaurd.

Combat is Much, Much, Much better than it looked in gameplay videos. So far I think Bioware has peged everthing perfectly except for one thing. This vast universe they have created feels really empty and not very alive.

Sounds like you're playing it right, getting caught up in the dialogue. That's what I like the most about Kotor and ME. Also the overall story and the detailed universe is awesome. Even though I have already read the novel, I listen though every new codex, and they're still entertaining and add to the overall feel of the game.

My only advice is, don't rush it through like many people do.
