I finally got around to purchasing Resident Evil The Darkside Chronicles which (i think) completes my light gun based game Wii collection. When I went to place it along with my other games, however, I noticed a rather puzzling omission from the side of the box art, the Nintendo Wii logo. 

Every Wii game I have encountered has had the grey Wii logo printed on the side of the box near the top of the case. Darkside Chronicles lacks this logo with only the title printed on the side of the case. As far as I can tell, this seems to be the only error with the box art. 

Now I know that errors with box art are nothing new (think Okami Wii cover) but this seems like a major screw up on Capcom's part. Anyone would surely notice (assuming they stack the games side by side) that the box art is missing the logo. 

You could argue that I am making a big deal over a stupid little logo, but I am just interested in more information about it. Was this really just an oversight, or was it something Capcom did knowingly?

I am just curious if anyone else has noticed this or if anyone has a case with the logo printed on it. I should also note that I have checked over ten copies of the game at different stores and they all lack the Wii logo. 

Also, I apologize if this topic has been brought up before, but I could find hardly any information on this issue.

I am loving the game too. The Wii really seems to excel at lightgun games overall. Anyways, I am considering making the attempt to contact Capcom about this sometime soon to get their explanation. (I wonder if they are even aware of this little screw up)

My copy has this error, too.

Better that Capcom forget the Wii logo than insert IGN's logo.

Here is a video I found that demonstates the issue. I am really surprised that more people have not noticed this or brought it up before. This is a little bit beyond a simple missed comma or mispelled word in the instruction book. This is one step below forgetting to put the Capcom logo on the product.

I did not make the video, and this was the only one I could find so far. I am still trying to get some more information around the internet before making calls to Capcom or Nintendo.
