The Wii hardware sales are out of the PS3's and Xbox 360's league, is this stopping Nintendo from creating what they are capible of? If you think about it, whatever Nintendo creates 1st party wise, it will sell rather decent (from wii music to mario kart). Why would they spend the extra money to create higher quality games when the wii is outselling its competition and is a software beast?
If you look at the 360 and PS3, they are competing. This is why you see higher budget games for both platforms (From uncharted 2 to Gears 2, Forza 3 to GT5).
Now that PS3 and 360 are going to be competing with Wii in the motion department, will this pressure the Wii into creating higher quality content? I think so, I think when people are going to see newer ideas on PS3 and 360, Nintendo will have to react...what do you think?
