Valkyria Chronicles was a good game, though it deserves its own topic.

@Vetteman94:

Well, the Platinum Trophy is like a mark that you've beaten the game fully and completely, right? I mean, Bayonetta requires you to beat Non-Stop Infinite Climax mode to max out your Achievements/Trophies. It just makes sense that if you get a Platinum, you should have to beat the game up, down, and sideways.

Well thats where I dont really agree,  I dont think that every game should have to be beat on the ultra extreme hard mode, just to get a platinum.

Then what should a platinum be? I'm not syaing something ridiculous like "get through the game without dying on Chaos Mode" or something like that - just that the game be completed in fullness.

Well how can you say that just beating it on Chaos mode gave you a more complete experience than someone who just beat it on Normal or Hard mode?  Say you went through the game and only found half of the secrets when playing it on Chaos mode,  but someone playing on normal found all of them.  Whose experience was more complete?  Playing it on a higher difficulty only make the experience more difficlut, it doesnt change the experience.

Well if you want to be technical then shouldnt completing the game in "fullness" be beating it on every difficulty level?  Even the easy ones?

To be honest difficulty can change the experience dramaticaly. Some games aren't fun because they aren't challanging. So for someone saying that GoW is just a simple button masher where you can get through the whole game just by repeatedly pressing triangle, Chaos Mode can be a good wakeup call.

The first Platinum I ever got was on Demon's Souls. Afterwards, my beloved PS3 broke down, so everything is lost now

I don't know if I'll ever have the courage to re-plat it again...

@aragod:

Yes, given that I beat God and Titan in the first and second games, I'm pretty confident about my ability to beat Chaos Mode. The only battle I have doubts about is that fight in the Labyrinth, near the end. That thing was almost - almost - like the gauntlet battle in God of War II before Clotho.

@Vetteman94:

Well I'm not saying drop the secrets for the sake of Chaos Mode. I fully agree that finding secrets should be necessary, and am glad that it is necessary. I just think that having a Platinum should be a bit of a bigger deal while still being doable.

....isn't it linked to your PSN account, instead of your PS3?

Congratz, true there should have been a trophy to beat the game on Hardest setting then it would have been a challenge

GoW 3 certainly has easy trophies, you can pretty much complete them all in 2 playthroughs.
Though I'd rather not have to beat the game on this:

Chaos Mode:

    * Kratos Damage Output: 75%
    * Enemy Damage Output: 500%
    * Health Orb Worth: 25%
    * Magic Orb Worth: 25%
    * Titan Orb Worth: 25%
    * Red Orb Worth: 75%
    * Enemy Aggression: Merciless
    * Enemy Recovery Rate: Immediate

If you synced you trophies to the server, it is never lost,  and it looks like you did going by your trophy card

Where are you guys getting this list?

Also, where is the equivalent list for the first two games?
