Interesting... last season eh. Why is it that every cartoon network original show I love seems to take 3+ years between seasons.

Yeah, even then.

I'm not sure how good the new Futuramas will be, after all, and Boondocks is basically guaranteed to be hilarious.

I remember dismissing the Boondocks when it first premiered on Adult Swim, then towards the end of the 1st season I caught a couple episodes when nothing else was on, and I was instantly hooked! Season 2 was wicked awesome as well... this show has some of the wittiest writing and the jokes and humor are second to none. And I love how they tackle racially-charged topics head on, when no other show, animated or otherwise (except for maybe Chapelle's Show or Chris Rock's old HBO show) wouldn't dare touch them with a 50 foot pole!

It's a humorous show about black identity in modern America. It deals with subject matter that makes white people uncomfortable but maintains a sense of brevity and wit intense enough to remain hilarious.
