In most games, you tend to go along with the story and beat the bad guy coz you want to save the world/save the princess/get exp/get a trophy/brag to your friends that you beat the game etc.
But there are times when a villain just inspires pure outright hatred out of you and you just want to kill him and tear his head off. There are villains who do such amazingly evil things that just hit below the belt. They are also arrogant beyond measure, as they tend to do such annoying and cheap moves that make you want to bash the controller over your head. Despite the fact that it's just a video game, you just hate his/her guts so much that you take it personally.
Here's my top 5:
5.) Luca Blight (Suikoden 2) - this character is the only guy i was ever scared of. his mad cackle used to haunt my dreams.
4.) Maximilian (Valkyria Chronicles) - what a cold bastard. this guy must eat little girls for breakfast.
3.) Sephiroth (Final Fantasy 7) - i was a 12 year old boy who had a crush on the game character that she killed.
2.) Zeus (God of War) - arrogant, selfish, treacherous, deceiving, self-righteous snake. this guy is the very definition of hypocrisy.
and the worst of them all is:
1.) Ragnaros (World of Warcraft) - 2 hard months, 40+ people screaming at each others' headsets, hardly any sleep, grinding like mad... and he wipes us.. again. god, when we finally killed him, it was one of the best days of my life.
