Graphics are fine if the game releases in the next year or so. As for gameplay I dont want them to change too much to be honest, for the most part I like it as it is with a few exceptions

-As much as I hate to say it they need random spawns, every match now turns into one team bogging down the other in their base with a bunch of spawn camping. There are spawn grenades but those are pretty useless if you cant get out of your base

-The assualt class needs to either be gone or majorly tweaked. Right now there are no real negatives for someone wanting to be a rocket jackass. They have more armor, the boost ability and heavy explosives....annoying everyone that isnt using that class to no end

I think just making the bases more secure and the base turrets indestructable would make it a lot better. One thing I really did like about killzone was they had a really active forum from the get go and it actually felt like they were listening to the player base. It's a major factor in MMOs but not often console games. Replays were great too, both for showing off and detecting cheaters.

Assault is a bit messed up, but it's not as bad as it was at first, double armor!

well thanks to noob complaints that became a propblem, if you remember killzone 2 from the start it was in all ways impossible to spawn camp and if you did you were stupid. But after an update they enabled spawn camping :(

kz3 will be out next year for sure and it will look gorgeous and play even better.

kz3 was probably in production the second they finished kz2 or maybe even earlier , the engine is made from the ground up so id say the most taxing thing for them is bringing together a new online experience, lets face it kz2 story wasnt all that special but the MP was awesome still playing it

They need to work on the story, the gameplay and graphics are fine..but it would be nice to have different environments to work with

right, da hell is this war torn dark gritty atmospheric planet........ oh no I so want to invade rainbow land, and fight in the gum drop forrest populated by pixies, and elves....... and while they're at it the guns should shoot bubbles, and grenades should be fill with fairy dust, and they should have a game mode where you have to kill your enemiyes with hugs and kisses.

FPS is always about graphics, you can forget about game play. it'll play like all other FPS.

Dude, no offense, but given their history in releasing Killzones, KZ3 probably won't be out until 2014 at the earliest (KZ1 released 2004, KZ2 demoed at E3 2005, KZ2 released 2009, KZ3 MAYBE demoed at E3 2010, KZ3 released 2014)

That's a huge time to go in video game terms. 4 years ago everyone thought the Wii was going to be a distant 3rd place. For all we know, by 2014, all three console manufacturers will have gone bankrupt, and been replaced by Ubisoft's console, which only plays 'Just Dance'. Or maybe the FPS will be in decline as a genre, and Sony won't feel the need to push out 'Halo Killers'. It's a crazy world.

KZ3 devs will need to push graphics, because KZ3 will be a PS4 title, and will be competing with Halo 5 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 on the X-Box 720. That's my point, basically.

That's real stupid, after Killzone 3 already being lined up for the PS3 and all probability suggests that they'll be using the same engine (probably slightly modified). Since Killzone 3 has been confirmed to be in development for quite a while, unless you're suggesting the PS4 dev kits have already been distributed... secretly... then none of your post makes any sense.

Killzone 3 will be pretty much the same. The graphics will be ramped up a very slight amount, mainly focusing on bringing more variety to the games colour palette. The gameplay, as in controls and core mechanics won't change much, although the MP component will be completely revamped. I doubt they'll keep much aside the class concepts.

I think most developers want both. So now with the tech in place, they can improve it a little bit graphically but I don't think it will look that much better. Gameplay wise I'm sure they will make it more accesible to those that didn't like the control set up.

You're not going overboard or anything.  It's not exactly crazy to ask for a variation in enviroments like the 1st one, I know not as many people played KZ1 but believe it or not (although the setting's a different planet), before seeing all the KZ2 trailers for 4 years beforehand, actually had a good variety of color to it's assaulted presently war-torn planet.  We're not asking for rainbows but can we at least see some......variety of how Helghan at least works?  No matter what you wish to believe, a planet doesn't just run on war like KZ2 makes you think it does.  Heck, if Gears of War 1 is gonna be pounded for it's "black and grey" scenery even though it actually shows some variety why can't KZ2 get the same treatment when it's twice as bad?

played and loved the first killzone,

2. every single trailer that was released for killzone 2 prior to it's release looked just like the game turned out to be (go figure)

and omg did you just say a planet doen't run on war like the game makes you think it does........... hold up, hold up time out...... REALLY???? REALLY????? I don't know what to say to that.

and that's the point killzone's color's atributed  to it's atmosphere, something lots of games don't have, when you play killzone 2 you know your playing killzone 2, the colors helped give it a unique feel, complaining about lack of color is like going to the middle of the deseret and crying that there's too much orange...... and sand, and that's what helghan was........ a giant desert planet, the people have to breath hot ash I'm come on, if you expected killzone 2 to have an earth like color platte you should have never brought the game imo.

now if the next killzone is to be released and it takes place on Veckta then I'd bet you *bleeps* will finally get your hard-on's for trees and variety, and color you know why????? becasue Veckta is an earth like planet *gasp* SURPRISE!!!!

I mean why doesn't anybody know this????????? you guys really need to play some more fps other than halo and call of duty imo, your ruining the genre for everyone elese

play Stalker, your know what I'm talking about.

I think they will focus more on graphics, especially when they have competitors like Crysis 2 this time.
