Hey there, after reading up on the removal of the ability to install linux on the PS3 fat it had me thinking that I distinctly remember the reason that the PS3 hasn't been hacked is almost exclusively down to this feature. Basically the "real" hackers were cutting Sony some slack for doing the right thing including it.

This is a conference the guy that hacked the Xbox 360 did a couple of years ago explaining how they did it. They are the best of the best.
