Forums - - Will this sell better than the first one?

As most people with the Conduit know, the Conduit was not an amazingly good-selling game like a lot of us thought it would be.

Repetitive gameplay, uninteractive environments, lack of local multiplayer, online hackers, and lots of glitches may have held back potential customers. The Conduit 2 promises to fix many of these problems.

Will you buy the Conduit 2?

Do you think it will be better-selling than the first one?

When we see the features and gameplay, we'll know.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

Probably not. This generation we get many promises that are never kept.

If the local muiltiplayer is fun enough and is done right sure

Would anyone buy it who did not buy the first? I don't think so, but I have no evidence.

Would everyone that bought the first buy the second? I'm not going to because I was disappointed, so that's at least one fewer sale.

I think it is very possible that someone who did not buy the first will buy the second. If they had thought about getting it, but they had read reviews that made the reader not want to get it because they read about lack of local multiplayer, repetitive storyline, ect...

Then they hear about the Conduit 2, and how it has local multiplayer, and how it promises to fix many problems of the first game.

That would persuade me to get Conduit 2 if I hadn't already bought the first one.
