So why is sony pushing 3d,with there upcoming 3d T.V.'s. Will they update this with the playstation 3? I don't really get all the hype. Are people really going to spend thousands of dollars on a 3d T.V. So,why is sony pushing 3d. Am I suppose to be wowed bye this? I really don't get it.

why are MS pushing Natal, or Nintendo pushing 3ds? answer is it's because they think it's the next be thing.

Do you have to were 3d glasses. Hasn't this technology been done before. If it's hologram technology,then that would be something impressive.

I don't know the ins and outs of it, nor do I really care but if it's released tomorrow, there's no harm in giving it a fair try before dismissing or lauding it.

Sony Computer Entertainment (Playstation) is part of Sony and PS3 3D is just another effort to push the 3D TV's and potentially there are 34 million PS3 owners who can buy a 3D TV and use it with PS3

They haven't released that much detail as far as I'm aware, that's why I'm a bit unsure of people praising it or dismissing it. I think it's best to wait and see how good it is and how much you'd need to spend. Obviously the tv is gonna cost a shit load but the ps3 update is supposedly free. Once you get the update, there's no obligation to buy anything so you can just ignore it but if you have a 3d enabled tv you can go for it.

i don't know either, but people loved Avatar, i didn't even bother watching it.
