i mean obviously you can't track digital sales of apps, but you can track the hardware right? iuno it seems apple has ninja'd its way into the game industry when are we gonna start tracking them?

I don't think it should be listed, as it has a different market and primary function, it's not really fair. 

The reason the iphone is not tracked is NOT because it is not considered a proper gaming device. It's because it would be too difficult to get the data.

The iphone is sold in a lot of places where other gaming hardware isn't, the most significant places being the apple stores (online and physical stores) apple is very tightlipped with its data

Its not a actually gaming devicessure my cell phone has games but that doesnt mea its a game device.

Theres the difference. A Ps3, PsP 360 etc is a gaming device with media funcionality. A phone is a communication device with gaming funcionality. Should the DS go head to head with Cybershots now? They both take pics so why not?

Pretty much every portable media device has some games built in nowadays, most MP3s, phones... etc...

Won't happen they aren't primarily game machines and are mainly a Cell phone and a tablet.
