Forums - Gaming - Valve VS Zynga: Valve loosing, not much time.

http://forums.blackmesasource.com/showthread.php?t=4621

Pretty much, The Escapist is holding a developer voting show down, I wouldn't really care for this kind of stuff, if Zynga weren't mass hyping in combination of the escapists allowing of Facebook accounts to create a totally unfair and unrepresentitive vote.

Zygna have already bet Infinty Ward, Rockstar North, and Square Enix, if you support those companies, get their revenge and vote for valve to end this crap.

So I've posted this here to see if there is any Valve fans here who will vote, you can register a minute, use a twitter account, or use a facebook account, you can use all three to get triple votes if you like.

Yeah, this seems a bit silly to get worked up about, but it's the principle of the matter, Zynga make toys, not games.

Around the Network

Well, although i support valve because of half life, I won't really bother about the popularity of the developers, because the consumers buying thier games are the people keeping the developers alive, not some bunch of fanboys who loves them.

And its just some competition by some magazine I've never heard of. Probably using this competition to gain attention
By the way, there are more Steam users than Zynga's group of supporters, so in my books Valve rules all.
And Infinty Ward, Rockstar North, and Square Enix are having a time of their life with all the profits their swimming in =)

Also, Zynga has many controversies in their name:
Replication of existing games: mafia wars is a replication of mob wars

Lead generation scams
