So they are taking away OtherOS, so why not add a few things, like:
-Open Remote Play. Want to control yor PS3 from your netbook at the coffee shop? You can with your PSP, lets extend that to PCs, Macs, even Iphones! There is a work in progress here, http://code.google.com/p/open-rp/ , but lets make it official Sony! Why not?
-Google Earth Client
-Firefox or Chrome browser- Lets face it, the PS3 browser is just barely usable, and crashes frequently.
-Better music visualizations. The built in suck, Winamp's Milkdrop Vis are great, why not add Milkdrop support?
-Shoutcast client to play Internet radio/video stations. Add a 'buy song' button and make some money!
-MAME! Yes, I know, good luck with that one. But it would put a big smile on millions of PS3 owners, and probably sell a few million more as well!
Any other ideas?
