So they don't blame the Wii, they blame themselves. There's hope in this industry yet.

Malstrom was stating that the smaller developers would get the Wii before the bigger ones (if some of the latter ever would).

Well at least they are admitting it had problem because conduit 1 was one of those games I was very disappointed in last year and one I classified in as a "shock value" game. Let's hope they are able to make large improvements in the 2nd one.

I'm glad that they're conscious of the shortcomings of their previous project, but I'm a little concerned that they're focusing too much on expanding the feature list of The Conduit 2 and not enough on polishing up the actual game experience.

Ah well, we'll find out soon enough if my fears have any basis.

How can anybody stay mad at these guys?

And I hope that means they have sasquatches and a big-head mode.

They said they were working on the latter. It's just it's hard to actually express that, while features are simply about knowing what to implement.

I played Conduit a lot considering I didn't like it =/ I said that these guys put their balls to the wall back in June I believe, well now I'm using my hammer and never buying High Voltage stuff, nevermind Sega nothing from Sega, unless it starts with a Lu and ends with a nar.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

I've said before that with TC1, I'll forgive them for the short comings, but not for TC2, so far it seems to be on the right track and if they can make it an established Nintendo platform FPS, then they'd be in good shape when the next N console comes out with the budget and people to make great games.

I gained a lot of respect for them.

Instead of the usual "Wii is too weak" or "No core Wii gamers" or "Wii limited us", we get "We fucked up. We're sorry and we'll fix it."

+10 Respect for HVS

Plus even if their efforts don't always pan out, it's still practice, and a lot more practice other developers are giving the Wii.

Nixing weapon sets and stopping the hackers (and stabilizing the experience overall) would certainly be enough to get me on board.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
