You could have played games with your family on any console.

Not true at all. There are a hell of a lot of people out there that don't have any interest in videogames mostly because they're attatched to a controller full of buttons.

My mom starts to hyperventilate when I show her how to make a call on my cell phone. She also beat me at bowling last night. Now if the game involved using a joystick and buttons, She'd be hyperventilating again.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Last christmas when my Wii was new whole family played bowling and boxing. Everyone but my grandma who I'm not really sure got that it was a video game :P

Every holiday since that we have been in our house (where the Wii is at) and played Wii Sports, Wii Play or Big Brain Academy.
I showed the Wii Fit trailer to my cousin and my aunt and they're considiring buying one for them selves just for that game :D

Predictions for December 31st 2008:

DS 84,500,000
PS3 17,000,000
PSP 41,000,000
