batman was the most disappointing and over hyped game of last year.

don't even get close to it.

just try the demo to see how bland and boring it is.I don't honestly see what everyone sees in this piece of crap

I've played the GoD3 demo, its fun, played the Batman demo, definitely liked it, but I didn't realize there was a MGS4 demo. I guess I'll play that now. It will help me decide.

Being that I've never played the MGS series, a few of you have mentioned that MGS4 might not be enjoyable. Is that the consensus?

alright, im going to be straight and honest with you, I have all those games you mentioned, I honestly believe you should get god of war, looking at your game collection it seems assassins creed is the only ps3 game you own. I recommend god of war, since its fairly different from most of the games you own right now. Its also the best value for your buck on that list, and likely 2nd best gaming experience you can get on that list in my opinion.

MGS4's demo is not very good at all, and you will not enjoy it, it's honestly not impressive. I really recommend the GOW collection.

I voted MGS4 because it'll be free with your gift card and is excellent! Valkyria Chronicles is $20 on ebay too...maybe look into that.

Also for future reference, if you liked Assassins creed I you will absolutely love Assassins Creed II because the first one bored me a little and I thought the second was fantastic.

i mean't in MGS4 as in playing as an old timer,i don't think it matters if you haven't played the other MGS's,if you have a brain,which i assume you do,to me it's just a high quality game

it depends on what type of game you are up for right now,obviously opinions differ as we can see from the posts

it looks like you want to play one of the ones you mentioned,let us know what you plumped for,i doubt you'd be disappointed with any of them to be honest,the only one i haven't played is AC2

Batman was a decent series from the few episodes I have seen, though I never really watch story driven cartoons; except avatar... Spongebob ftw!

Old Clash of the Titans wa s awesome, however is pretty dated now (just watched it not too long ago) and I have not seen the new movie.

Okay listen God of War is grea but I'm going to go against the grain and recommend you get you some BATMAN

Here is what the combat in Batman can be like when you're good (though this guy makes the camera fly everywhere, when you play yourself it looks much nicer):

go for the god of war collection, if you even liked clash of the titans gow will be great for you, yes kratos can be a dick but the game still has amazing story, great greek mythology, and is just plain epic in scale. too add, i am sure you wont mind the ps2 graphics as they are not bad at all, the gow games on the ps2 were the some the best the system had seen. especially gowII...not only that, but if all else fails, you can sell it for some nice change on ebay since everyone wants the game now a days..yes, mgs4 is the best game i have played this gen, but i really feel it wont be right for you.
