I'll break the thread talking in English... But I want to know what the Spaniards side of the whole independence vote of Catalonia is or was. ¿De donde eres?

I think only two of us live in Catalonia, AsGryffynn and me, and I didn't vote.

Yea that is what usually happens.  Eventually you realize voting is useless.

If that referendum had been completely legal, I would have voted for sure. But given the circumstances, I decided to that it wasn't worth it.

And now you have Spain breathing down your neck.  Was it worth it? Maybe but I bet others have better case for independence like the Kurds.

Well, of course the kurds have a beter case for independence, and so do palesttinians (they aren't fully independent), but that doesn't mean others like can can't discuss about it or even ask their citizens about it.

Also, Ka-pi made a thread about it a couple weeks ago that would be a better place to talk about it rather than here.

Blergh, nunca las soporte. Tienen un sabor raro. El Miercoles me marcho a Florida para el Halloween y cuando vuelva espero encontrar todo en orden, o al menos encontrar los restos de Espana/Catalunya... 

I did so out of annoyance. And a very, VERY faint hope Rajoy would call for a constitutional rewrite and allow a real one... Or just restore the statute the PP abolished. That DID piss me off... 

For the record, I haven't lived in Catalonia for around a year now. I went to Madrid and returned just to vote and rendezvous with family and friends before leaving for the US...
