Gameplay is "lots of running around, some whackity-whack" You can attach four 'spells' to your trigger buttons, with evade being one. attacking is basically bashing one button and holding it for a more powerful attack (pressing it at the fourth hit will get you a different animation / move than when you do it at the second for example) Sometimes it switches to a sidescrolling view, or a topdown view. You can upgrade weapons by adding "words" to it. That way you can increase counter, power, magic and so on. using items is a bit annoying, as you have to go into the menu, go to the right tab and then select a potion or something. Still not sure about how this game is going to turn out. |
How's the story, writing, and voice acting so far? Are the cutscenes lengthy? S-E seemed to put emphasis on the story so it will no doubt be a big part of the game.
