Sorry Darth, but alot of people who don't consider FF11 a main game are ignornat pricks who will not even try it. Because it has a "subscription."

Yet people waste more money on candy, soda, or a cell phone that is completely un-necessary as well!

Looks like FFXI just more colorful. I am upset they took out the tail of the Galka.

as of now, it is only on pc and ps3.

Hence why I said sad but true.

Even though MMO's are more popular now so it should do better than XI in sales figures.

of course it won't be coming to 360. like XIII never came to 360...

darth that is a ridiculous thing to say. Thats like saying ff XIII is nothing like the other final fantasy games so it will not be acknowledged as a main ff..........tripe.

Kind of funny. XI has actually made probably more money than any FF game to date due to that subscription.

Sorry, but you are very, very wrong.

Final fantasy by its very nature as a series is constanly changing. With new styles, gameplay types, charactors, worlds, storylines, battle systems, etc.  Take for example FFVII and FFXII, two totally different RPGs and the only thing that links them together is the following:

• Spell names,
• Gil
• A man called Cid
• Men called Biggs and Wedge
• Chocobo

And thats it, thats all that links most final fantasy game together.  The very term Final Fantasy fan is ridiculas becuase of the huge difference in styles from game to game.  Most people that have followed the series will have games in the series that they dislike (for many FFVII fans, FFVIII was awful.  Many FFIV fans think FFIX was then next best FF game).

FFXI followed the Final Fantasy nature by changing its style to one thats different to the FF games before it.  That is why its a FF game.  People that think FFXI should not of been in the main line of FF games just don't understand the nature of FF games at all.
