Frankly, I can't think of anything from the PS2 era that needs to be remade. Moreso, I can think of plenty of games from PS1/PSX era that should be remade. Namely Chrono Cross, as the developers have stated the game was only 3/4 complete.
Six upcoming games you should look into:
Nothing really, maybe MGS 2+3 and ICO 1+2, but games really age fast and some of the gameplay mechanics can be rather ancient.
