Oh I get it! They're making it red because it has become cheaper. Since they think HD DVD is cheap ass LOLOLOL.

We get horrible yellow and grey.

Reds me fav colour aswell so i would the the greatest hits over the platinum

I like having cases in different colors. I'd also love to have white, green, orange or yellow Blu-Ray cases.

The platinum game cases here are, well, platinum. Or at least about as platinum as a cheap plastic disc case can get. The red looks weird, and not at all PS-like to me.

Blue is the color I would have preferred also; it would tie in everything nicely. Not using green or a precious metal is easy, given MS, and Nintendo last gen used yellow, so that's another to avoid. I guess the red is still better than the green from the PS1, though...

And as for the cheap-ass comment, I can't see that, since some could perceive it to be talking about the quality of the games, which Sony obviously doesn't want to do.
