The new extra footage in the japanese trailer shows a cool fast-paced fight with two pirates.

It very well may, but the footage of Mother Brain and that line of speech is from a flashback from the final scene of Super Metroid.

If they had to buy a team i'd say buy mistwalker. Few employees so quite cheap but some great talent. Fits well into nintendo's group of RPG devs plus Sakaguchi  was originally at square and nintnendo is pretty much the home for ex square employees anyway

Yes, I know that... however it just occurred to me the 'M' might stand for that, instead of for 'Metroid', like some have been speculating (referring to the baby Metroid from that same scene). Besides, 'Metroid: Other Metroid' would be a silly name. 'Metroid: Other Mother' has a certain ring to it, though still sounding weird. Ah well, we'll find out, eventually.

The M could simply stand for Mission?
