I hate to be negative but am I the only one that noticed they are talking in hypotheticals? "would IDEALLY like to see a publishing partner pick up both a FPS Wii version and a third-person action version specific to the 360 and PS3" - to me this means that while they haven't fully stopped work on the Grinder FPS for the Wii, it doesn't have a publisher.

Yeah, you're exactly right. It sounds like HVS doesn't have a publisher yet.

Which is probably why this title has been pushed back and we're reportedly getting Conduit 2 within a year or so. HVS asked Sega if they want to sell another new IP on the Wii and Sega said, "How about a sequel to Conduit before we go franchise-building again?"

That makes sense. If TC2 does well enough, Sega could be the publisher for The Grinder.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Kinda odd that they can get a publisher for Conduit 2 but not for the Grinder.

Anyway, hopefully it turns out to be good. Left 4 Dead is a fun game so nothing wrong with making a game like it.

Proven IP (not matter how disappointing for some) versus unknown.

Well, good news, then.

Ah good points I did not catch that myself. Kinda surpised that Sega has not said yes though they have made a pretty good chuck off the Wii sales more than on xbox and Ps3 this gen
