My sleeper was Bayonetta. I was surprised at just how well done the combat was. Bayonetta had some amazing combats. I had not enjoyed the combat portion of this much since DMC. Finally a action game where button mashing was punished. The only downside is the story is a little lacking.

Fragile. It's not exactly flying off the shelves, and I'm predicting that by mid-summer, it'll be relatively hard to find.

I'm serious too. I enjoyed it.

What was it about the game that you enjoyed? I have not heard much about Deadly Premonition at all.

Crap! I keep forgetting about this game, I've gotta get this.

OT: I've only played the biggies so far this year, but upcoming I think that Alpha Protocol is going to be better than a lot of people think, or even really know about it. Obsidian made KoToR 2 and if it hadn't been rushed to market lacking a proper ending, it could have been seen as better than the first. I actually like it better.

I'd say Bayonetta to. The awesomeness of that game was sheer shock. I did not expect the goodness it had.

It was spooky. The story isn't too bad at all. The game itself isn't anything special to look at but for $20, it's a 20 hour, open world, survival-horror title. Not bad when you think about it.

Really? I'm glad you enjoy it. And I'm not knocking your opinion. But my friend said to me, Deadly Premonition is exactly why Remedy strayed away from Open World with Alan Wake. He said it just doesnt work with that genre. Whcih is why he took DP back.

Well it has it's flaws, no doubt. But for $20, I can't complain

I haven't actually played it, so I don't know first hand. It's only what he told me. :)

It's always nice though to buy a game with weary eyes, and to be be pleasently surprised that your really enjoying it. I did that with Too Human. Saw the reviews, bought it with clenched teeth and actually really liked it. Not stellar, but good game with flaws.

@cgi-quality, will get deadly premonition sometime this week. if u like the game , i am willing to give it a shot.
