Forums - Nintendo - Will we see more (New) games from Nintendo?

Like how we got 2 (new) Super Mario Bros. games, will we ever see New Donkey Kong Country? New Kirby's Dream Land? New Legend Of Zelda? In the same retro gameplay style but new look style? I hope so, imagine a new Legend Of Zelda made in the same style as Link to the Past but with nice 2D/3D graphics like New Super Mario Bros.

Well, the only thing really different about them is the controls, and I doubt Nintendo will go back to button-and-D-Pad controls for Zelda, ever again. Other than that, the series has evolved, and while games like ALTTP and such were great, Nintendo has moved on...

True, but the 2D Mario gameplay has remained virtually unchanged since Super Mario Bros. 1. Zelda's 2D/topdown gameplay has evolved and developed far more, so I doubt they'd ever go back to gameplay as seen in ALTTP. Then agaon, you never know with Nintendo, so yeah, there's always a small chace, haha.
