Forums - Sales - Who Will come out onto after E3 & Why ?

Haha E3 is still a solid 2 and a half months (June 15-17) away so very hard to tell now. All we do know are these:

Nintendo- showing off 3DS, vitality sensor with games, and Zelda Wii
Microsoft- more complete NATAL with games, second half lineup, and Halo: Reach
Sony- Move with games and second half games

Point being, we know very little at this stage. Obviously there is already loads of speculation of what will happen. I think many expect either Resistance 3 or Killzone 3. I think many also expect a PSP2. Also expect Gears of War 3 and Pikmin 3 (lots threes eh).

What I can say now, is Nintendo has already stuck big by announcing the 3DS. MS has responded by saying we'll have 2 shows and I don't think Sony will sit back either. I think the companies, who are looking at systems that have been on the market for awhile, are going to be either showing things to keep those things "fresh" along with games to get people excited or they'll start showing off new systems. I think it might be a little to early for the latter outside of the handheld market, but the "fresh" part is obviously going to be a big thing and big games are already going to be shown namely Zelda Wii and Halo: Reach.

So who knows which company will win, but I do know who is sure to win... the gamers. Got to love competition.

3DS, vitality sensor and Zelda should be pretty incredible. That said, if Sony or MS convince me that their motion control system will have good games to support it then that is a big thing

Hard to say, they will all have awesome showings.

Nintendo has Zelda, Galaxy 2, Other M, etc.

Sony has Move, GT5, SOCOM 4, Resistance 3, Killzone 3, etc.

MS has Natal, Halo Reach, Gears 3 (possibly), Left 4 Dead 3 (Just joking), Fable 3 (maybe), etc.

I think the lamest showing will be Microsoft. I think they'll just ramble on about Natal for the entire thing and bore us to death with details. At least Sony and Ninty have a ton of games to show/announce.

Nintendo's E3 should be epic this year.. Vitality Sensor and its games, (hopefully) more motion plus games, 3DS. And we barely know of any 2nd half games yet.

I say Nintendo not because I'm a Wii owner. Nintendo has new hardware that they are showing, the 3DS and also a new peripheral the vitality sensor. They also have software to show, Zelda, maybe The Last Story, maybe Pikmin 3 and whatever else they got.

Galaxy 2 will be out before E3 btw, it won't have a major presence there. I doubt Other M will either (it comes out just a week later), Nintendo's going to focus on their back half lineup (Zelda, DQIX, 3DS, Vitality Sensor, Last Story, Pokemon G5, etc).

I want to see Killzone 3, Gears of War 3, FFXIV, FF Versus XIII and more JRPG love at this E3.

I thought they already confirmed Versus wouldn't be ready to show at E3?

With E3 around the corner it's a perfect time for the BIG 3 to get a much needed edge.

Microsoft have already confirmed they will have a huge showing at (E3 Electronic Expo) with two unique showings  http://news.vgchartz.com/news.php?id=7581   (cough Natal)

Where as Nintendo have also confirmed that The New handheld will be somewhat "playable" at E3
http://news.vgchartz.com/news.php?id=7560   on the Wii side of things is Super Mario Galaxy 2 going to be enough or do big N have more tricks up their sleeves?

I assume Sony will focus on all things "Move" with talk of one or two exclusives in the mix......

So E3 .... Who will Win E3 2010? Thoughts?

well, sony said that killzone 3 is just the icing on the cake, so I'm expecting huge things at e3 from sony.

nintendo and ms will have pretty big stuff too though.

Microsoft will- they simply have the biggest E3 news, probably price cut and 360-slim version. Sony probably won't cut the price at the E3 but might want to wait a bit and see what effect the 360's price cut will have. And anytime you have news of a price cut, it's a big thing. Natal will be the icing on the cake and since MS has done a lot of moneyhatting, they have gotten close to 85% of developers working on Natal, so I'd imagine quite simply that the number of offerings that Natal has will dwarf the PS3 Move's titles even when the Move will probably beat Natal with respect to quality.

Nintendo doesn't have any new gimmicks besides games, and Sony's move wont be as big as Natal, its PSN upgrade if it is happening won't have as much of an impact as MS's expect price cut and slim version.

However, I still stand by my prediction that the 360 size cut won't be as significant as the PS3 to slim was, as the 360 is already as big as the PS3 slim is now, where the PS3 was originally a lot bigger. Also, Sony will eventually counter with their own cut.
