Wouldn't it just kick ass if a new, Donkey Kong Country game came out, for perhaps, the Nintendo DS? Man, I have always wanted to play another Donkey Kong Country game. Donkey Kong 64 was good, but it just wasn't as good as the classic three on the Super Nintendo. I wouldn't mind it if they made a Donkey Kong Country 4, in 3D, as long as the game is linear, like the classic 2D games, instead of a game, based on exploration, like Donkey Kong 64.


New Super Mario Bros. 2 is a must! While Galaxy is a blast, it would be awesome to play Mario in his traditional, 2D formula again. Perhaps Nintendo could make more use of the touch screen functionality, for it was very limited in New Super Mario Bros.

Any news, or rumors, at all, of these games, possibly coming out in the future?

Wasn't there some weird DK platformish game that came out on the GBA a year or two ago?

Nintendo isn't eager to make a true sequel to the DKC franchise. Chances we will see a sequel to DK Jungle Beat is bigger and since that game kinda bombed chances are the next DK game will be totally different.

My guess is they already began work on the sequel to NSMB ever since it crossed the multiple millions sales. NSMB is for the DS as Mario Land was to the GB. We will probably see more than 1 sequel.
