no, grey worlds are not realistic and never were. Bombing out a place still doesnt make everything grey and white.

beirut says hi

This next one is one for the brown gamers

Now, mostly green? WTF is wrong with developers?

wow you found 1 thing that isn't 100% realistic in modern shooters. I don't think picking up medikits and getting health full restored is even close to realistic either....not to mention all the other unrealistic things in UT. It's a game and those are necessary steps or the gameplay would seriously suffer.
And I think you have no clue about good games and graphics. |
I can list more. How about a fucking gun with a chainsaw?
I am not saying that UT is realistic. I am saying that your "realistiv" games are just as full of shit and unrealism as UT, making the whole "oh it's realistic" point about graphics absolutely moot.
Also I am not saying that graphics make or break a game, it's just a correlation, gray/brown games suck.

oh, so a game that takes place in the future is already unrealistic, so everything should be colorful? what kind of logic is that?

I wish I had played this game.

Now you are getting my drift. No game should be gray/brown, plain and simple.
you forgot to write, IMO.
If you look at the pictures I posted above, that is the exact kind of color scheme we get from games like MW, KZ, etc... It's a realistic setting. For gamers, it's relatable because it imitates the way our world looks.
It's just your opinion vs theirs and I can appreciate your point of view, but please try to keep in mind that a lot of other people love those games as much as you love yours, so there must be something you're missing.
That's part of growing up: understanding that there are things you don't understand.

I love how in the first picture everything is so sharp but then there's the piece of rock at the front that's like neatly cut and less realistic compared to the rest lol

Hold on, I can cherry pick too!
Here's some pretty red in having things bombed:

And green and pink:

Having gray/brown shows a lot about how the game was designed, and those games started off pretty good, and now they just suck pretty badly.

I didn't cherry pick. I googled "bombed out" and posted the images that were not B&W photos. Even so, most people would call that a brown game, sir. Almost 75% of that picture is brown or gray, and the colors that are present are heavily muted.

I googled "bombed out city" and those were the first non BW images there. So I dunno what you were looking for. Maybe you aren't looking, but there's a park right there, with all the trees still intact, flowers too probably right there on the side, see it?
