Been done before!

Games were much better bck hen you had colorful and crazy models. Nowadays everthing is just so boring and bland. I mean hell, not even the real world is so monotone and colorless.

Back in 2007 ? lulz

"Unreal Tournament" and "realistic" are 2 terms that should never be mentioned in the same post.

no,  grey worlds are not realistic and never were.

Bombing out a place still doesnt make everything grey and white.[/quote]

Unless you live in paradise or a place without any sign of civilization, gray and white are very common "colors".

Especially when you're in a hangar or whatever industrial place Vanquish takes place in.

Wow what a poor ass excuse. Are you telling me getting shot in the chest twice with a shotgun then hiding behind a chest high wall for 5 seconds will fully heal it is actually MORE realistic than Unreal Tournament?

As it stands, if the main colors displayed are overwhelmingly gray and/or brown then the game just has bad graphics, the more I think about it the more I can't think of any good game which has had gray/brown colors pre-dominantly.

wow you found 1 thing that isn't 100% realistic in modern shooters.

I don't think picking up medikits and getting health full restored is even close to realistic either....not to mention all the other unrealistic things in UT.

It's a game and those are necessary steps or the gameplay would seriously suffer.

And I think you have no clue about good games and graphics.

I can list more. How about a fucking gun with a chainsaw?

I am not saying that UT is realistic. I am saying that your "realistiv" games are just as full of shit and unrealism as UT, making the whole "oh it's realistic" point about graphics absolutely moot.

Also I am not saying that graphics make or break a game, it's just a correlation, gray/brown games suck.

oh, so a game that takes place in the future is already unrealistic, so everything should be colorful? what kind of logic is that?

Now you are getting my drift. No game should be gray/brown, plain and simple.
