Well i'm a Christian which mean i bear the name of Christ. So the basic beliefs of all forms of Christianity is this (whether you protestant, catholic, Lutheran etc.):
I believe Christ died for me because it is incredible
I believe Christ rose from the dead because it is impossible
I don't like, however, the fact that I'm labeled a Christian. Why? Because when people hear Christian they don't think of a bearer of the cursed name of Christ, they think of crazy fundamentalists that hate science and burn books all that stuff.
I am a strong defender of the Bible too, because that is the foundation of Christianity today, it is the easiest and most accessible form of the "Word of God", as it is divine and not merely human in origin.
But then again that's just me...
